Position Description
As part of the Project Delivery Team you will provide Wintel skills for the
delivery & support of Computer Services (CS) initiatives
• Deliver the ‘hands-on’ technical Wintel & Exchange aspects of infrastructure
projects. In conjunction with the rest of the teams in UK and
Germany, deliver project solutions that are operationally robust, i.e.
conform to all applicable IT architecture and operational standards and
have followed the “Operational Readiness Process”.
• Provide a suite of documentation for each delivered solution, as a
minimum covering design, support and maintenance.
• Assist with operational support as required.
• Maintain a close liaison with Production Support groups, the Computer
Services project Managers and all other stakeholder groups involved in
solution delivery & support.
• Network actively and effectively with teams across Computer Services,
both formally, e.g. by ad hoc meetings and discussions to maintain
technical awareness information exchange and sharing of ideas.
